Mr Christopher Chukwurah – Director

A retired administrator, Mr Chukwurah attended the College of the Virgin Islands, St. Thomas in 1964 and holds a Bachelors and Master degrees in Agricultural Economics (1971) from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Illinois, United State. In January 1973, he joined the Federal Civil Service and was deployed as a Planning Officer to the then Federal Ministry of Economics and Reconstruction now the National Planning Commission (NPC) where he rose to the position of Permanent Secretary in 2002. In 2003, Mr Chukwurah was redeployed to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and in the same year, he was moved to the presidency to serve in Economic Affairs Office of the Presidency.

In recognition of his hard work and commitment to the service of his fatherland, Mr Chukurah was honoured in 2003 with the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
