Hon. Justice James Ogebe (JSC) Rtd – Chairman

Hon. Justice James Ogebe is the Chairman of the Board of Trevari Power Company. A graduate of the Prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, from where he obtained his Law Degree in 1967 and an eminent jurist with several years of distinguished judicial and humanitarian service to man and country, Justice Ogebe started his career as a Pupil State Counsel in the Ministry of Justice of the defunct Benue-Plateau State in 1968 and rose steadily through the ranks of service to become Acting Director of Public Prosecutions (1971);  Senior Magistrate and Acting Chief Registrar (1974); Chief Registrar (1975);  Acting Judge between 1976 and 1978 until  he was substantively appointed a Justice of the High Court of Benue State, a position he held until 1991 when he was elevated to the Federal Court of Appeal during which he discharged several responsibilities as Chairman of several Commissions of Inquiry; Chairman of the State’s Robbery and Firearms tribunal;  Judge, Price Control Court; and Acting Chief Judge of Benue State on two occasions in September 1984 and January 1987.

Justice Ogebe is a community and humanitarian spirited gentleman.
